Artist's Comments

I have a fantastic series of photos given to me by my prospective father-in-law (who works for the engine manufacturer) of the Concorde's final flight. I will only submit two photos.

Neither of us took these photos; they were given to him by a friend of the photographer, so I do not take credit for this.

It is such a magnificent photo, and the end of an era. Its fitting that the final touch-down of the concorde took place in Filton, Bristol, where the first one took off many years ago.

Awesome. That's a cool frozen in time kind of capture. Well, all photos are like that, but I digress. That's sort of like the lyric to Strong Bad's Shaft-like theme: "Theme from Dangeresque II: This Time It's Not Dangeresque I"

"He works alone, except when he works with Ronaldo--which is all the time, Dangeresque!"

Very cool. Geez, what's the wing span on the thing?
